AI use case sales agent

How Infosight Consultants answers RFPs in hours and connects every bid to revenue, capacity and margin

Faster bids, without losing sight of delivery. Claude reads the RFP, VOGSY's sales agent turns it into an opportunity and a project, and forecasts, capacity and margins connect from the first response.

Bids that already know what delivery looks like

Every qualified bid is now an opportunity and a project in VOGSY from the start, created by the sales agent in the same system that runs delivery and billing. Revenue and capacity forecasts arrive earlier and are more accurate. Bid assumptions connect directly to actual delivery and project profitability, and each result feeds the next bid.

How the sales agent and MCP server connect bids to delivery

  1. Analyze. Claude analyzes each incoming RFP and makes recommendations for the response.

  2. Connect. An n8n workflow hands qualified RFPs to VOGSY's sales agent through the VOGSY MCP server.

  3. Create the opportunity. The sales agent creates the opportunity, with pipeline tracking and revenue forecasting switched on.

  4. Build the project. The sales agent suggests a work breakdown structure and creates the opportunity project, so revenue, skills and capacity are clear before the bid is won.

  5. Learn. Opportunity and project outcomes flow back into the RFP workflow, improving future evaluations and responses.

Any AI assistant or workflow tool that supports the Model Context Protocol can work with VOGSY's agents this way. Your own AI handles what's unique to your firm, such as screening RFPs. VOGSY's agents bring the services know-how: feasibility, project structure and forecasting, on the system of record built for professional services and certified to ISO 27001 and ISO 42001. The workflow was built in cooperation with infosightai.net.

The challenge

60 RFPs a month, each answered by hand

Infosight Consultants is a multidisciplinary engineering and technology consultancy working across the GCC and Asia. Around 95% of its engineering business comes in through RFPs, with around 60 arriving every month.

Each response took three to four days of manual work. In a bid-driven business, speed is often what wins the deal.

Every bid decision also shaped what came after it: the revenue forecast, the capacity needed to deliver, and whether the project would make money. So each RFP needed a direct line to all three.

Frequently asked questions

What is the VOGSY MCP server?

It lets external AI assistants and workflow tools that support the Model Context Protocol work with VOGSY's agents and your live VOGSY data, within the user's access rights.

Why connect external AI to VOGSY's agents?

Because each side does what it does best. Your own AI tools run the steps that are unique to your firm, like screening RFPs. VOGSY's agents know how a services firm runs: they check whether work can be delivered, structure the project and update the forecast. They do it on the system of record for your services business, certified to ISO 27001 and ISO 42001. Connected through MCP, both turn intelligence into real work, on data you can rely on.

Do we need a custom integration?

No. Any MCP-compatible AI assistant or workflow tool connects to the MCP server directly.

What does the sales agent do?

It checks whether an opportunity can be delivered, and when, based on skills and capacity. It creates the opportunity, suggests a work breakdown structure, creates the opportunity project and sets up the billing model.

Is it safe to let AI work on our sales data?

The agents work on your own structured VOGSY data, within each user's permissions. Customer data is never used to train foundation models. VOGSY is ISO 42001 and ISO 27001 certified.
