How to create an opportunity project for estimating and quoting in VOGSY

If you need a detailed estimate of work and costs for a quote or Statement of Work (SOW), the best way is to create a project within the opportunity.

Click the "new project" button under the opportunity to start building the project, including one or more deliverables, calculations, and budgets.


In addition to creating quotes and SOWS for new projects, you can extend an existing project with a new deliverable. Just click the "extend a project" button.


Generate and approve the quote

Once the project and budget are set:

  • Click the "Create a Quote" button. VOGSY will use the correct template and auto-fill it with data from the opportunity and project.

Before sending the quote:

  • The department manager or an appointed colleague must approve it.


The Four-Eyes Principle is a control mechanism that requires two independent and competent individuals to review and approve a quote before it's finalized and sent to the customer.
