How to use the Employees report
The Employees report is a key component for managing your workforce data within the platform.
Column descriptions
First Name
The first name of the employee.
Last Name
The last name of the employee.
Email
The employee’s email address, also used as their VOGSY login ID.
Archived (yes/no)
Shows whether the employee’s record is active or archived.
User type
Specifies the employee’s user type (Super, Full, Lite, or No user).
Roles
Indicates the employee’s role(s).
Can manage others timesheets (yes/no)
Indicates whether the employee can approve the timesheets of other employees.
Absence hours approval
Indicates whether the employee can approve the vacation time of other employees.
Manager
The email address of the employee’s manager.
Prefill timesheets with planned hours (yes/no)
Indicates whether the employee wants VOGSY to update their timesheet with the hours from planning.
Auto submit entries at the end of the day
Indicates whether the employee wants VOGSY to submit their draft time entries at the end of each day.
Can see financial data on projects
Indicates whether the employee can view project financials.
Activities
The list of activities the employee can log time against.
Seniority
The employee’s level of experience.
Start date company/department
The employee’s employment start date.
Finish date company/department
The employee’s employment end date.
Company/department
The company or department to which the employee is assigned.
Start date cost/sales rate
The date that this cost rate and sales rate took effect.
Finish date cost/sales rate
The date by which this cost rate and sales rate no longer apply.
Cost rate
The employee’s internal cost of the employee’s time. This rate is used when logging time.
Sales rate
The billable rate for the employee’s time.
Start date working hours
The date that these working hours took effect.
Finish date working hours
The date that these working hours no longer apply.
Working hours Monday
The number of hours the employee is available to work for the day.
Working hours Tuesday
The number of hours the employee is available to work for the day.
Working hours Wednesday
The number of hours the employee is available to work for the day.
Working hours Thursday
The number of hours the employee is available to work for the day.
Working hours Friday
The number of hours the employee is available to work for the day.
Working hours Saturday
The number of hours the employee is available to work for the day.
Working hours Sunday
The number of hours that the employee works for the day.
Start date billability percentage
The date that this billability percentage took effect.
Finish date billability percentage
The date that this billability percentage is no longer valid.
Billability percentage
The percentage of an employee’s working hours considered billable (target).
Allowed time-off / non-billable types
The activities this employee can use to track time off.
Labels employee
The labels associated with this employee.
