How to use the sales pipeline progression chart in VOGSY
The Sales Pipeline Progression Chart is a powerful visualization tool that tracks how your sales pipeline evolves over time. Unlike a static snapshot, this chart highlights the dynamics of your pipeline—how opportunities move, are added, won, or lost between two points in time.
Purpose of the Chart
Visualize the flow and changes in your sales pipeline's value (revenue or weighted revenue) over a selected period.
To understand why the total pipeline value has increased or decreased.
To identify trends in opportunity movement between stages.
Timeframes
This chart can display the changes between days, weeks, and months, and show the progression for these intervals.
Visualizations
The visualization of the funnel per day/week/month toggles between the following:
Revenue. The actual order value of the opportunities.
Quantity. The number of opportunities in the pipeline.
Weighted revenue. This equals the order value of the opportunities. Multiplied by the sales probability percentage.
Recurring revenue. The recurring revenue as entered with the opportunity.
Weighted recurring revenue. This equals the recurring revenue multiplied by the sales probability percentage.
Stacked bars
The chart shows the pending opportunity stage and the won and lost opportunities per day, week, or month as stacked bars.
For the pending opportunity stages, darker colors indicate later stages.
This visual breakdown helps quickly assess the distribution and progression of opportunities.
