How to set up price lists per country or region

For multinational companies, managing the price of your services across different countries and currencies can be complex. Price lists in VOGSY simplify this process, allowing you to enforce a global pricing strategy while still allowing for local variations.

This article explains how to set up and use price lists for your international operations.

The Purpose of Price Lists

Price lists give you a centralized way to manage your service pricing. You can:

  • Create a standard price list for a specific region (e.g., "North America Price List" in USD).

  • Develop a country-specific price list in a local currency (e.g., "UK Price List" in GBP).

  • Easily roll out and update pricing across your entire organization.

How to Set Up a Price List

The process involves creating the price list in the back office and then assigning it to your customers.

Step 1: Create the Price List
First, you need to create the price list container itself.

  • Action: Go to the Price Lists function in VOGSY's back office. Create a new price list and give it a descriptive name (e.g., "2025 EMEA Services").

Step 2: Add Services and Define Prices
Once the price list is created, you will add your services to it and set the price for each one in a specific currency. This becomes the official rate card for any customer using this list.

Step 3: Publish and Assign the Price List
After you have defined all the prices, you must publish the list to make it available for your front-office users.

  • Action: You can then associate this published price list with a specific customer. When you create a new project or quote for that customer, VOGSY will automatically use the prices from their assigned list.
