Price Lists
In VOGSY’s back office, price lists let you manage activity sales rates for groups of customers, based on region, country, or any grouping you choose.
Each price list is linked to one currency only.
When you create a project for a customer assigned to a price list, the project’s invoicing currency will match the currency of that price list.
Each customer can have one price list. VOGSY uses the rates on that price list for all projects created for this customer.
However, if needed, you can assign a different price list per project.
Periods
You can set the validity dates (start and end) for each price list.
When a project is created, VOGSY looks at the start date of the project calculation and matches it with the valid period in the price list to determine the sales rates.
This lets you prepare pricing in advance, for example, for the following year.
You can duplicate previous price lists to save time.
Prices can be expressed in hourly or daily sales rates.
Extend and index
You can extend a price list into a new period using the Extend button. This will:
Copy all activities and their existing sales rates into the new period.
Let you update prices automatically, either by:
- Increasing them by a percentage, or- Adding a fixed amount to each rate.
