Welcome to the VOGSY Help Center! Your new AI assistant is a powerful tool designed to help you find information and complete tasks more efficiently within VOGSY.

To ensure you get the best experience, it's important to understand how it works, its limitations, and your role in using it effectively and responsibly.


The 'human in the loop': your essential role

While our AI is designed to be a smart and helpful partner, it's important to remember that AI can make mistakes. Think of the VOGSY AI as a personal assistant; it can provide suggestions, find data, and automate tasks, but you are always the person in command.

We are building our AI on a 'human in the loop' principle. This means that every answer and action suggested by the AI must be reviewed and validated by you. Your oversight is crucial to ensure accuracy and to catch any potential errors before they have an impact. Always treat the AI's output as a draft or a suggestion that requires your expert confirmation.

Data and security: your information is protected

We want to be crystal clear about the information your AI assistant can and cannot access.

What the AI Uses:

The VOGSY AI operates within a strictly defined "walled garden." Its knowledge is limited exclusively to two sources:

  1. Public VOGSY Information: All content available on our public website, vogsy.global, including this help center.

  2. Your VOGSY Data: The information stored within your organization's specific VOGSY namespace.

The AI cannot access any external websites, search engines, or other sources on the internet. The AI also cannot search the documents stored in the VOGSY folders in Microsoft's SharePoint or Google's Shared Drive. In order to search these documents with AI, you need to switch to Co-Pilot or Gemini.

Enterprise AI with enterprise-grade security:

Because we are talking about enterprise AI, security is paramount. The VOGSY AI is bound by the same robust permission system that governs your user account.

This means the AI will never circumvent your permissions. If you do not have the right to view a certain project, access a specific financial report, or see particular HR data, the AI will not have access either. The AI's responses and actions are strictly limited by the permissions configured for your user profile.

From 'alpha' to 'beta': the road ahead

The VOGSY AI assistant is currently in its Alpha stage. During this stage we have 2 objectives.

  • Process feedback: All the valuable input gathered during the Alpha phase will be reviewed and incorporated to improve the AI's accuracy and usefulness.

  • Improve default prompts: We will refine the example prompts to better guide you and showcase the assistant's full capabilities from the moment you start using it.

With you feedback we can nurture the VOGSY AI to the next 'beta'-stage.

This Alpha version is available as an opt-in program, allowing you to decide when you are ready to explore the VOGSY AI.


Frequently Asked Questions

Is the VOGSY AI assistant free of charge?
 

Yes, for now. As long as the VOGSY AI is in its Alpha stage, it is available to you free of charge.

During this period, we will keep track of the processing tokens used by your organization. We will contact you directly if we notice that the usage of the AI is leading to unacceptable expenses to discuss the situation.

 
Can I speak to the VOGSY AI in my own language, other than English?
 

Yes, you can. The VOGSY AI is built on a powerful, multilingual foundation, allowing it to understand and respond to a wide variety of languages.

While the AI's primary language for development and training is English, we encourage you to interact with it in the language you are most comfortable with. Please be aware that as with any AI, the quality of the responses may vary between languages.

We welcome your feedback on its performance in your language, as this will help us improve the experience for all users.

 
What is the VOGSY AI assistant?
 

The VOGSY AI is an intelligent assistant integrated into the platform that helps you find information, summarize data, and assist with tasks using natural language. It's a new way to interact with your VOGSY data without manually searching or running reports.

 
Can the AI make mistakes?
 

Yes. Like any AI, the VOGSY AI can make mistakes or misinterpret a request. Sometimes answers may be slow. It may reuse phrasing or not perfectly capture your company’s jargon.

That's why we have a "human in the loop" principle, which means every answer and action suggested by the AI must be reviewed for accuracy by you.

 
What information can the VOGSY AI access?
 

The AI's knowledge is strictly limited to information on the vogsy.global website (including the help center) and the data stored within your company's specific VOGSY environment. It cannot access the external internet or any other data sources.

 
Can the AI see data I'm not allowed to see?
 

No. The VOGSY AI is bound by all permissions configured for your specific user account. It will never circumvent your permissions. If you don't have access to certain data, the AI won't either.

 
Why is my feedback so important?
 

Your feedback is vital for improving the AI. When you report anything that is incorrect, could be better, or is not helpful, you directly contribute to the AI's learning and refinement process, making it a more powerful tool for everyone.

 
What is ISO 42001 and how does it relate to the VOGSY AI?
 

ISO 42001 is an international standard for the responsible management of artificial intelligence. VOGSY is aligning its AI development with this standard to ensure we are building a trustworthy, transparent, and secure tool.

 
Is the VOGSY AI using my company's data to train models for other customers?
 

No. Your VOGSY data is used only to provide answers within your own secure environment. It is not used to train the core AI models or shared with any other customer.

 
Why can't the AI answer questions about topics outside of VOGSY?
 

The AI is intentionally designed with a "walled garden" approach for security and relevance. Limiting its knowledge to your VOGSY data and our official documentation ensures that the answers are secure, relevant to your work, and don't introduce external, unverified information.

 
How is this different from other AI assistants?
 

The VOGSY AI is an example of "Enterprise AI." This means it is built with enterprise-grade security at its core, strictly respects your company's data permissions, and is designed for a specific professional purpose, unlike general-purpose AI assistants that browse the public internet.
