How to progress an opportunity through the sales stages in VOGSY
Understanding Stages
VOGSY uses defined stages to track the progress of an opportunity. The default stages include:
New (0% probability)
Qualification (10%)
Solution definition (25%)
Proposal (50%)
Decision due (75%)
Final negotiation (90%)
Win (100%)
Lost (0%)
Of course, you can configure VOGSY to have different opportunity stagesĀ and, if necessary, set up multiple pipelines with different stages.
Updating the Stage
When viewing or editing an opportunity in VOGSY or looking at the opportunity card, there is a field named "Opportunity Stage".
To progress an opportunity, you select the new, appropriate stage from the available options in this "Stage" field.
Kanban board
The opportunities Kanban board is an excellent way to visualize and manage opportunities' stages. You can drag and drop opportunities to a new stage.
Visualizing Progress
VOGSY's visual tools, such as the Sales Funnel chart and the Sales Pipeline Progression chart, reflect changes in opportunity stages. These charts help you track the flow of opportunities through the different stages.
