Welcome to our latest update! We're excited to introduce a set of new features and improvements designed to streamline your workflow, enhance reporting accuracy, and provide greater flexibility across the platform.
Timesheet prefilling
We've made timesheet prefilling more flexible. Time off will always sync automatically, reflecting the firm nature of these plans.
To account for project hours that are often less certain, you control their syncing via the 'Prefill time entries' setting in each employee's profile, allowing for either automated or manual entry.
Reports - Deliverables/Projects
To provide a clearer view of your order book, reports 'Deliverables' and 'Projects' have been enhanced with two new columns: 'Order Value in Local Currency' and 'Amount Invoiced in Local Currency'.
This update allows you to analyze financial data directly in the project's native currency, improving accuracy and removing the need for manual conversions.
Task Assignment
To improve cross-team collaboration, we've removed restrictions on task assignments. You can now assign a task to any employee in the company, regardless of their project allocation. This makes it seamless to pull in the right person for the job, exactly when you need them.
Expenses
We've added a new option to streamline your expense workflow. You can now disable the "Verification" step, allowing expenses to move directly from submission to final approval. To ensure data quality, all mandatory fields you've set (like VAT) will still be enforced upon submission.
This setting is available in the 'Expense settings' of the back office.
Leave Approval
The approval process for leave requests has been improved. When a manager is changed, any pending leave approvals are automatically transferred to the new manager, ensuring a smooth transition.
Leave Budget Configuration
A setting has been introduced to prevent users from logging leave hours beyond their allocated budget. This update stops users from consuming more leave than what is available.
Leave Revocation
Employees can now easily revoke approved leave requests for future dates. This change automatically adjusts the planned hours and updates the leave budget, helping prevent scheduling confusion.
Public Holidays in Timesheets
Timesheet entries now clearly display public holidays marked as days off. Additionally, a warning message is shown if time is logged on a day without scheduled working hours.
Bug Fixes
- Resource Planning: Fixed an issue where opportunity bookings indications were not shown on the resource line in certain weeks.
- Leave Approvals: Resolved a bug causing errors when leave requests were approved via email, ensuring smoother processing in RC.
- Quote Module: Corrected a misalignment in the total amount shown for Statements of Work, ensuring that the sums now reflect the quoted items accurately.
- Billability Report: Adjusted the report calculations to display the correct number of leave hours per employee, eliminating previous discrepancies.
- Orderbook Drilldown: Fixed a recursion error that was previously breaking the orderbook drilldown function, improving overall stability.
- Employee Creation: Improved email address validation to ensure uniqueness by excluding non-employee contacts, while also providing clearer error messages for users.
