We’re excited to share the latest improvements and fixes designed to make your daily work smoother, faster, and more reliable. This release focuses on boosting productivity, improving data accuracy, and enhancing your overall experience across integrations, financial management, and reporting.

API & Integration Improvements

  • Enhanced API Documentation: Comprehensive details for creating and updating person records are now included, facilitating smoother integration.
  • External API Enhancements: We have introduced new APIs to improve operational collaboration. These enhancements enable third-party users to efficiently:
    • Submit timesheets
    • Retrieve billable targets
    • Access leave budgets

BigQuery Dataset

  • Margin Forecast Dataset: We have introduced a new BigQuery dataset called 'Margin forecast.' This addition expands the available options for generating custom financial reports.

Invoicing & Financial Management

  • Historical invoices: Draft invoices can now accommodate historical dates stretching back up to three years. This feature allows for the reconstruction of past invoices originally generated in your previous system.
  • Currency-specific invoice templates: We've introduced the capability to use currency-specific invoice templates. This feature is particularly useful for specifying different bank details when invoicing in various currencies, which helps improve payment clarity for your clients.
  • XML Invoice Update: The invoice XML (UBL) file has been enhanced to include the contact person’s name in the Buyer Contact field, providing clearer identification of the buyer.
  • Time entry reports enhanced with invoice number: The 'Time entries' report and its corresponding BigQuery dataset have been updated to include the 'Invoice number' attribute. This enhancement simplifies the process of exporting time entries associated with a particular invoice.

Other Improvements

  • Smarter resource planning: Resource planning automation now excludes days with planned Paid Time Off (PTO), preventing overbooking and ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Archive industries: Enabled the ability to archive industries, ensuring that only relevant options appear in organization selection dropdowns for simplified user navigation.

Bug Fixes

  • Timesheet approval (Client Approval): We resolved an issue with the period filtering for timesheet approval requests. This fix ensures that only the correct time entries are selected when generating an approval request.
  • Time zone fix for Expense Dates: We resolved a time-zone issue that caused the expense submission date to shift incorrectly. Dates will now precisely reflect the actual submission times.
  • Long file name fix: Addressed an invoicing error caused by excessively long folder and file names. File and folder names are now automatically capped to prevent generation errors.
  • Exact integration stability: Fixed an issue with the Initial Import function for customers and suppliers (debtors and creditors). This update ensures data is imported correctly, preventing duplication and inconsistencies.
  • Outstanding invoice date accuracy: The 'Date Paid' attribute for outstanding invoices has been corrected to use the posting date from the associated account statement. This refinement ensures the accurate calculation of the number of days the invoice is outstanding.
  • Document archiving: Ensured that merged PDF attachments to invoices are now properly archived in the Document Management System after being sent to clients.
  • Conversations: The numbering for the 'Conversations' tab has been fixed on the organization, person, opportunity, and project views.
