This month’s update introduces more flexibility to your quoting workflow, enhances project visibility, and improves data integrity across the platform.

Flexible quote approval flow

To better accommodate varying customer preferences and internal workflows, the quote approval process has been updated. You can now configure the system so that all quotes require approval, allow managers to self-approve, or bypass approval entirely for immediate sending. This enhancement simplifies your sales process and improves operational efficiency by removing unnecessary administrative steps.

We've introduced a new ordering option that prioritizes recently created projects. Sorting by "recently created" allows you to view the newest projects first, ensuring they receive timely attention for proper resourcing and setup. This helps guarantee that no new project is overlooked and that your team can get started right away.

Additional merge fields for quotes and invoices

Responding to customer requests, we have added new merge fields for contact information on quotes and invoices, including job role and job title. This update allows for more detailed document personalization, creating clearer and more professional communication with your clients.

Improved date field validation

The system's default validation for date fields has been updated to ensure data consistency. Dates entered in a two-digit year format are now automatically converted to four-digit years (e.g., 01/04/25 becomes 01/04/2025). This prevents ambiguity and reduces the risk of errors, saving time on manual corrections.

Bug Fixes

Resource Planning department filter now shows all companies We have resolved an issue where the department filter in Resource Planning was only showing one company’s departments. The filter now correctly displays all companies and their respective departments. This fix ensures comprehensive visibility, allowing for accurate and reliable resource planning across your entire organization.
