This release puts a strong focus on AI-driven sales support and better deliverable management. The new AI Sales agent turns an opportunity straight into a resourced project proposal, while the new Deliverable view, as announced in Coming soon: Deliverable view, gives you one place to filter, sort, and manage deliverables end to end. Alongside these highlights, this release also brings a range of improvements to invoicing, purchase orders, direct costs, and the VOGSY MCP Server, plus several bug fixes.

Highlights:

  • AI Sales agent is now available and proposes and creates opportunity bookings and a full project structure directly from an opportunity.
  • Deliverable view for filtering, sorting, and managing deliverables in one place.
  • VOGSY MCP Server now exposes draft invoice data for AI-driven approval reminders.
  • VOGSY AI Analysis notifies organization followers of substantial account developments.
  • Improvements to draft invoice approval, direct costs, and the Pipedrive integration.

New features

  • AI Sales agent. VOGSY's AI Sales agent is now available and can turn an opportunity into a concrete project proposal on its own. Based on the opportunity description, the agent proposes and can create opportunity bookings for the resources needed, as well as a full work breakdown structure, project, deliverables, activities, and the estimated hours for each, giving sales teams a ready starting point instead of a blank project. The agent then checks whether the right people are actually available to deliver that work in the proposed timeframe, and if they are not, it suggests an alternative period when the required resources are free. This means sales can move from a won or promising opportunity to a realistic, resourced project plan in minutes, with far less manual coordination between sales and delivery.
  • Deliverable view. VOGSY now includes a new deliverable view where you can filter, sort, and manage deliverables in one place. Review key details, update a deliverable's status, and assign team members directly from the view, so managing deliverables no longer requires jumping between screens.

Improvements

AI and MCP

  • VOGSY MCP Server. The MCP server now exposes draft invoice data, so an AI agent can retrieve invoices awaiting approval along with the contact details of the responsible project managers. This makes it possible to automate reminders for pending invoice approvals without manual follow-up.
  • VOGSY AI Analysis. Any user who follows an organization now receives a notification when VOGSY's AI analysis surfaces a substantial change for that organization, instead of having to check the organization view manually. What counts as notification-worthy can be tailored to your organization's own priorities.

Other improvements

  • Draft invoice approval. A new option has been added to the draft invoice approval setting: support staff can prepare a draft invoice, a project manager approves it, and support staff then finalize and send it. This adds an extra verification step for organizations that want back-office oversight both before and after project manager approval. Because support staff always perform the final send, the invoice goes out from a back-office (finance) account rather than from the approving project manager.
  • Timesheet pre-filling. Administrators can now disable the automatic pre-filling of planning activities on a per-employee basis. This helps keep timesheets manageable for employees allocated to many projects or assigned a high volume of tasks, without changing pre-fill behaviour for anyone else.
  • Direct costs. Direct cost entries can now include an uploaded document, be registered in any currency (converted automatically to the project's local currency), and generate the corresponding journal entries once marked done. Sales amounts tied to direct costs are also reflected correctly in invoicing and margin calculations.
  • Revenue actual and forecast report. This report now shows the portion of your revenue forecast that is unplanned alongside what is already planned in the orderbook, giving managers clearer visibility into how much of a Time & Material forecast is backed by tracked hours versus still needing resource allocation.
  • Pipedrive integration. Product lines on a Pipedrive deal can now be synced automatically to opportunity bookings in VOGSY, giving full visibility into potential future resource allocation as soon as a deal is created or updated in Pipedrive. Pipedrive remains the source of truth, so updates there are reflected in VOGSY automatically.
  • Invoice data API. New API endpoints are available for retrieving invoice header and line data, including revenue type information, with amounts provided in invoice, local, and base currency. This makes it easier to integrate VOGSY invoicing data with external financial systems. See the API reference for details.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the AI chat agent was unable to assign a project manager to a project. The agent now completes this action reliably.
  • Fixed an issue where electronic invoices generated for recipients in Germany did not fully comply with ยง14 UStG and the EN16931 standard, which could cause invoices to be rejected. Generated e-invoices now meet these legal requirements.
  • Fixed a display issue in the timesheet entry form where customer logos in the project search field were not properly aligned.
