We're excited to bring you the latest updates designed to enhance your data insights and streamline your workflows! This release focuses on empowering you with real-time data for leave management and improved financial reporting.

BigQuery Dataset: Leave Budgets

A new BigQuery dataset, ‘Leave Budgets’ is now available for direct integration into your dashboards. This dataset provides real-time actual budget data, eliminating the need for refreshes, and mirrors the ‘Leave budgets’ report.

Key benefits:

  • Real-Time Data: Access up-to-the-minute leave budget actuals. The live data stream completely eliminates the need for manual data refreshes.
  • Simplified Reporting: Connect directly to the dataset from your dashboards (e.g., Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau) to build robust and always-current reports.
  • Data Parity: The dataset serves as a direct, queryable equivalent of the information found in the existing "Leave Budgets" report, ensuring consistency across your analytics.

BigQuery Dataset: Leave requests

The new BigQuery dataset, 'Leave Requests', is now available. It provides up-to-the-date leave request data, mirroring the structure of the 'Leave Request' report, and is ready for your custom reporting needs.

Key benefits:

  • Advanced leave analysis: Perform custom queries to analyze leave patterns, track approval statuses across teams, and identify trends over time.
  • Unified HR dashboards: Integrate leave request data with other sources to create a comprehensive overview of workforce availability and liability.
  • Improved data access: Gain direct, on-demand access to leave request information without relying on manual exports.

Enhancement to Planned vs Actual Report

The 'Planned vs Actual' report has been enhanced to provide clearer insight into the financial impacts of discrepancies between planned hours and actual tracked hours.

Two new columns have been added:

  • Sales amount hours planned: This is calculated by multiplying the 'Hours planned' by the corresponding sales rate (base currency).
  • Sales amount hours timesheets: This is calculated by multiplying the 'Hours timesheets' by the sales rate (base currency) associated with the time entry.

Bug Fixes

  • Issue when selecting activity in timesheets: Corrected the activity assignment issue where the selected time entry activity was being replaced by a default value. Entries now accurately reflect the chosen activity upon saving.
  • Leave request approval by Email: Improved email approval functionality by adding clear and immediate feedback when a leave request is approved. The notification now clearly indicates the status change, avoiding confusion about whether the action was completed.
